Our safedent protocols include:

Enhanced patient protection measures: All providers have upgraded their protective gear and hygiene for each visit. This includes appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all appointments. Between patients, practices meticulously clean, disinfect and sterilize rooms, instruments and all surfaces in operatories

A virtual waiting room: To continue social distancing measures, our practices have set up virtual “waiting room” procedures for patients check in via text message and wait, if necessary, somewhere safe outside the clinic, such as in a car. On the day of your appointment you will receive detailed instructions from your dental office – stay tuned!

Tech-enabled screening: Prior to your visit you will be sent a digital screener. Our practices screen patients in advance for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors to ensure our clinic stays COVID-free for your safety. We also screen our team members.

Air Filtration: To ensure air quality is sanitary and aerosol producing procedures are neutralized in between patients, our practices have invested in high efficiency air filtration systems. This increases safety from germs and other pollutants.

Teledentistry: Many of our practices are setting up their own virtual care, where you can speak with your dentist over video, chat and text. Dentists are available virtually for emergencies, answer questions or discuss new procedures such as aligners or whitening (not okay in QC as teledentistry is for emerge—or to triage non-emerge only).
