Bio
Andrew Gaffen was raised in Ottawa, where he did all his public schooling. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree at Queen’s University, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Toronto in 1999. Following eight years of general dental practice in Ottawa, Dr. Gaffen returned to the University of Toronto to pursue graduate training in endodontics. He received his Masters of Science and his Royal College of Dentists of Canada Fellowship in endodontics in 2010. Since that time, he has been in endodontic specialty practice in Ottawa. He is a highly skilled and knowledgeable practitioner who is also caring and compassionate.
Dr. Gaffen also has a strong research background and has authored numerous scientific papers. He has lectured at scientific conferences as well as at dental specialist meetings and dental study groups.
When away from the office, Dr. Gaffen enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his wife and three children.
