As with any orthodontic treatment, Invisalign will have an impact on your daily life. However, the effect is mostly minimal!
Because Invisalign aligners are transparent, it will be hard for others to see them when you're wearing them. You may find most people don't even realize you're undergoing orthodontic treatment!
And while you should wear your aligners a minimum of 22 hours a day for the best results, you can remove them for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. This means you don't have to make any significant changes to your diet or to your oral hygiene routine.
Some people feel temporary discomfort (usually a feeling of pressure) for the first few days of wearing a new set of aligners. This is normal, and in fact, it’s a sign your Invisalign clear aligners are doing their job and straightening your teeth.
