Bio
Dr. Chris Haunsperger was born and raised in Saskatoon and has been practicing, studying and teaching dentistry in Saskatoon for more than 30 years. Dr. Haunsperger graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry with Great Distinction in 1988. He has spent 24 years as an Assistant Clinic Professor at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in the Department of Removable Prosthodontics (dentures) and Implant Prosthodontics, and served as the President, College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan in 1997.
He received the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan Award of Merit in 2001 and is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Haunsperger is an active member of the Saskatoon & District Dental Society, College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan, Canadian Dental Association, International Team of Implantologists, and is a Supervising Examiner for the National Dental Examining Board of Canada.
Dr. Haunsperger has pursued particular interest and continuing education in the areas of root canal therapy, full mouth reconstruction by means of crowns, bridges and veneers on natural teeth as well as implant supported reconstructions and removable prostheses (complete dentures and partial dentures).
