Bio
Dr. Elena Aivaliklis graduated from McGill University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2017, followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2021. Afterwards, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Montreal General Hospital, where she gained experience developing and executing more complex treatment plans, seeing medically compromised patients and treating dental emergencies.
Dr. Aivaliklis joined the team in Dorval in 2022, where she treats patients of all ages and can provide a wide range of services, including fillings, extractions, root canals and dentures. She prides herself in her individualized approach to patient care that allows one to feel heard and understood. Her goal is to help patients work through their dental anxiety and feel more comfortable and confident in their oral healthcare journey. One of the ways in which she can do this is with the use of nitrous oxide sedation, also known as "laughing gas,” for which she holds a certification from the University of Toronto. This tool has helped so many children and adults complete their treatments and leave with a smile on their faces.
Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Aivaliklis has been the president of the Montreal Chapter of Women in Dentistry, which provides education and mentorship to female dentists. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new recipes and participating in fitness classes like barre and pilates.
