Bio
Dr. Hannah Kashyap grew up in Britain and moved to Montreal in 2000. She graduated from McGill University with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Hispanic Languages.
After spending a year working and volunteering in Brazil and India she returned to Montreal to continue her education at McGill University, earning her Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
She completed a General Dentistry residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto where she was also involved in providing emergency dental services. She has also had the opportunity to work in Northern Ontario with the Cree providing dental care to families.
Dr. Kashyap is a strong believer in giving back to the community as part of practicing family dentistry and has participated in volunteer projects promoting oral health to students and young adults. In 2013, she was part of a dental humanitarian mission to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico to provide dental care to local Mayans.
Dr. Kashyap has a great passion for travel, hiking and skiing, international cinema and plays the cello in her spare time. She recently took up pottery and boxing and also loves to cook for her family and friends.
