Bio
Dr. Marcelo Bercovici obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and his Dental degree from Université de Montréal.
After a General Practice Residency at St-Mary’s Hospital, he proceeded to build a private practice. His disarming personality, easy-going demeanour, gentle touch, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality care endear him to his patients. That his patients consistently refer their family and friends who are “scared of dentists” is the highest praise.
“Dr. B” practices preventive, conservative dentistry as a first-line approach. When age and neglect have taken their toll on a patient's smile, however, he takes pleasure in being able to rebuild it so that it is as attractive and functional as possible.
He loves surgery, implantology, root canal treatments and aesthetic, reconstructive dental procedures. He is dedicated to obtaining the best possible result for his each of his patients, and will always take as much time as necessary to achieve this end.
Dr. Bercovici is a member of the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics, Order of Dentists of Quebec, and Quebec Dental Surgeons Association. He is President of Alpha Omega – Mount Royal Dental Society. He is a long-standing volunteer at the Ometz new immigrants’ clinic at the Jewish General Hospital and offers free dental services in the Holocaust Survivors Oral Health Program.
Dr. Bercovici is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
