Dr. Melissa Parker attended the University of Toronto and graduated in 1988 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following her graduation, Dr. Parker was selected to complete a one-year dental residency at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children. This fascinating experience allowed her to practice dentistry on hundreds of medically compromised children, whose special needs sometimes required operating room dentistry.
After practicing as a general dentist for a few years in downtown Toronto, Dr. Parker embarked on her two-year specialty training in orthodontics from Loyola University, Chicago. Additionally, Dr. Parker is trained and certified by the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Parker enjoys skiing, golf, hockey, and watercolour painting. She actively keeps up with her three grown children!
