Bio
Dr. Monica Morales was born and raised in Guatemala City. She graduated first in her class in dental school from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in 2013 with an honours degree after receiving her Bachelor of Science from the same university.
After graduation, Dr. Morales worked in Guatemala City for a year before moving to Connecticut, USA to do a two year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. It was at the University of Connecticut where she met her classmate and now husband, a Canadian from Ontario. They both moved to Canada in 2016. Dr. Morales successfully completed the equivalency process to obtain her Canadian dental licence in 2018.
Having lived on the east coast of the US, Dr. Morales and her husband decided to move to the Canadian east coast in 2021. In her free time Dr. Morales enjoys spending time with her husband Scott, her son Noah and their dog Oso (means bear in Spanish). She also enjoys the outdoors, watching soccer, crafting and reading.
