Bio
Dr. Trudy Nwachukwu received her dental surgery degree in 2004. After practicing general dentistry for several years, she moved to Manitoba and completed a three-year specialty training program in Periodontics, graduating with a Masters of Dentistry, Periodontics, from the University of Manitoba in 2016. She is a board-certified specialist in periodontics.
Dr. Trudy is both Canadian and American boards certified. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She also teaches undergraduate dental students as a part-time faculty member at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry.
Dr. Trudy is a published author in scientific journals and has given multiple lectures/provided multiple continuing professional education events for the Saskatchewan dental community. She has partnered with the Canadian Dental Association to make periodontal videos/webinars to aid knowledge networking amongst dentists. She also collaborates regularly with the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan’s annual oral health conference where she serves as an invited speaker.
She is committed to offering the highest level of patient care to our community, and enjoys many recreational activities with her husband and three kids.
